Obituary for Johnny Mack June

Deacon Johnny Mack June, peacefully and quietly departed his life on Wednesday November 28, 2018 at his home at the age of 77. He was the son of the late Lawyer and Mary M. Tisdale June the 4th child of seven children. He attended the public schools of Williamsburg County. He met and married Lola Tisdale, to this union four children were born. At an early age he attended Antioch Missionary Baptist Church where he attended until his health declined.
He was a Deacon and member of the male choir and served them well and a good community worker and loved his family. He was employed at the University of Rochester. After he returned to South Carolina he was employed at Bill Wright Ford Dealer, Baxter Travenel Laboratory, Martin Cable Company and Global. He enjoyed traveling and playing with his grands.
Preceded him in Death, two brothers Elbert and Mozell June. He leaves to cherish his wife Lola M. Tisdale June of 58 years. Patricia (Willie) Bettard Jr., Sheila (Re. Franklin) James Sr., Johnny (Ednita) June and Andrea June all of Kingstree, SC. Two sisters : Juanita Brown and Rose Hamiter of Philadelphia , PA – Two brothers Danny Palmer – Rochester , NY and Jerry Nesmith of Nesmith , SC. 10 grandchildren Willie ( Latoya ) Bettard II – Baltimore MD , Nyeshia (Francisco) Wilson – Kingstree SC , Quentin Bettard – North Charleston SC , Johnny (Melesia) June – Fayetteville NC , Bryant Bettard – Kingstree SC, Joshua June – Kingstree SC, Ajah June – Kingstree SC , Dayjah June – Sumter SC, Jasmine James – Columbia SC, and Franklin James II – Kingstree SC. 5 great-grand children Rhianna , JaKarra , Mariah , Starr and Willie IV.
One brother – in – law Dr. Henry (Alice) Tisdale - Orangeburg, SC and two sisters- in – laws – Rosa A (Willie) Tisdale – Orlando Fl and Christine Shaw of Kingstree SC along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
