Life Reflection

Justin Bradley Holloway was born on April 25, 1997 in Florence, South Carolina to Harry and Sandra Holloway. God chose to take him home on Friday, December 2019.
Justin was educated in Florence 1 Schools where he was a 2015 honor graduate of Wilson High School in Florence, South Carolina. Upon completing high school, Justin entered Coastal Carolina University. He graduated on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and a minor in Creative Writing.

Justin was a faithful member of Cumberland United Methodist Church in Florence where he was an acolyte and an usher as well as a member of the youth choir. He was often called to participate in church services during special occasions. He was committed to his family and served on the Executive Board of the Hoover-Hedrick Family Reunion as a junior officer.

Justin excelled as a student and as an athlete. He attended science, technology, engineering, and mathematics camp during his youth. He enjoyed playing sports including baseball, basketball and football. He was taught to play the game of golf at a young age by Edward Addison, Thaddaeus “Butch” Barr and Tommy Bryant.

People who knew and loved Justin would tell you that he liked to talk and had a great since of humor. He had a wealth of knowledge about a lot of things. He was an avid reader and could talk to anyone about most things. He was a people person and everyone who knew him loved him. He made a lot of friends in his short life.

Justin is survived by his parents Harry and Sandra Holloway of Florence, his siblings Shequoia J. Holloway (Atlanta), Javier Holloway (Columbia), Javonne Holloway (Columbia) and Dherdrick Scott and a special niece, Ava Scott both of Florence.

He leaves to cherish his memory special aunts and uncles Louie (Katherine) Holloway, Karen H. Hamilton, Rev. William (Alisa) Webb, Mary B. Smith, Gloria B. (Louis) Preacher, Kathleen H. (Lorenzo) McIver, Sheila Hedrick, Barbara “Missie” (Gary) Curry, George (Tina) Bradley [Godparents], Edward (Anne) Addison, Thaddeus “Butch” Barr, Sherral (Levern) Johnson, Sophia Davis, James Abraham, Melvin (Carla) Pierce), Aubrey (Anna) Johnson, Marshall T. (Quilla) Rainey, Taft (Cynthia) Guiles, Zack (Gloria) Cooper, Shirley Davis, Lola (Ernest) Thompson, Janice (Bill) Thompson, Dee Butler, Valarie McClain, Roland (Barbara) Robinson, Tommy (Diane) Bryant and Evelyn Scott [Godmother].

He is preceded in death by grandparents Edward & Barbara Hedrick and Louie & Nettie Holloway. Grandparents who continue to honor his memory are Marilyn McClain, Janie McCleod, Betty McCellan, and Diane Hunter.

Justin’s friends include Illiyah Edwards, Christopher Dixon, Paul Moore, Nigel Long, Jeffrey Gandy, Sa’vayjah Washington, Ashanti Davis, Derek Martin, Morgan Perkins, Jamill Muhammad, Daijah McLaughlin, Rajanee Butler, Wynter McCall, Corey Harrell, Amber Sansbury and Jada Davis.

In addition to family and friends, the special village who helped to support Justin includes the Dimery Family, the Long Family, the Harvey Family, the Bradley Family, Coach Jimmy Link & Family, the Heyward Family, the Lester & Venson Family, the Streater Family.the Florence District 1 Family, and the Otis Elevator Family.
