Terrance Gavon Flagler was born on February 9, 1973 in New York City, NY. to Melton C. and Mary M. Flagler. To this marriage ten children were born. Terrance was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jonathan Flagler.

Terrance attended St. Mark School in Kingstree, SC, from elementary through high school. Terrance had a passion for cooking and art, which directed him to Culinary Arts School in Kentucky. He worked at Red Lobster and Red Bone Alley in Florence, SC. He managed the both kitchens and was totally appreciated by his staff, owners and co-workers. Terrance attended Timmonsville Church of Christ and other non-denominational churches.

Terrance was married to the love of his life, Joyce, August 13, 2010. Terrance truly loved his family and was a doting grandfather. He lived life to the fullest and enjoyed his friends and family; whom loved him dearly and cared for his health and spiritual welfare.

Terrance leaves to cherish his loving memory forever, his loving wife, Joyce Coker Flagler, two sons: Terrance T. Flagler, Tervon Flagler, two stepsons: Micheal Dease, Jalen Washington, one grandson: Brayden Dease A.K.A. Pappa and Buddy, sisters: Joann Flagler, Sandra Dubley (Samuel), Virnese Seward (Wendell) SC, Alma G. Johnson, PA, Mary Tandia (Sid), MD, Oneita Rivers, PA, Keith Flagler (Willie Mae), SC, Kenneth Flagler, NY, NY, sisters-in-law: Angela Barr (Sammy), Joanna Bryant (James), Deloris Reaves (Bobby), Clara Coker, Jannette Baldwin (Bobby), Serigo Coker Bello, Ernestine Riley (Norman), one brother-in-law: James Coker, Jr., one Uncle, Issac Mitchum (Roxie), Aunts: Nina Tucker, Emma F. Cooper, Thelma Mitchum, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.



Dear God, I thank you for your son, Terrance G. Flagler. I honor the name Terrance, the name that has given me life. If it were not for your son Lord, I would have remained lost. I am eternally grateful for the love shown through Terrance and I will never take it for granted. I Love you Big Head. Your Wifey, Joyce
